Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Co. rocks!  What a great group of people talking the talk and walking the walk....and they offer tons of tried and true heirloom seeds, what could be better?  Anyone out there have other heirloom seed sources that we should all know about?

We are having a blast with the Baker Creek Catalog! We have planted so many varieties of tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins, carrots, etc....

@PrinceSnow: Hi, just wanted to pop in with a suggestion: if you use the link feature in the posting pop-up, it will be easy to get directly to the page you are talking about. Just click "edit" on your post, then when the posting pop-up appears, highlight the text you want to link, then click the link icon (right next to the "+" sign - which, btw, you can use to upload media). See you around!

Hey K, could you upload a few pix from the seed festival we went to in Connecticut where we met the Baker Creek team? Love those old buildings they are restoring.

Baker Creek does rock! I really like the selection of heirloom seeds from Botanical Interests Seed Co., too http://www.botanicalinterests.com . They have some great varieties that are hard to find elsewhere.

Sites I've used and enjoy (other than Baker's Creek) include:
Victory Seeds
Seed Savers Exchange

Places I keep an eye on but haven't yet used include:

Lazy Ox Farm
Heritage Tomato Seed
Native Seeds
Trade Winds Fruit
Heirloom Acres Seeds
Local Harvest
Botanical Interests
Sustainable Seed Co.
Marianna's Heirloom Seeds
The Sample Seed Shop
45th Parallel Seeds
Good Mind Seeds
Knapp's Fresh Veggies
Wild Boar Farms

I'm not sure why his store is empty right now, but if he fills it back up, this guy is EXCELLENT and CHEAP if you need just a few of something. I enjoyed my experience purchasing from him:

Also, if you love tomatoes, and want to get your hands on some really wild varieties you can't find anywhere else, you need to hang out here to get in on the seed exchanges:
