Can anyone recommend a good free garden design mapping program. I'd like to combine all of my little index card maps into one neat , organized document.
Yes, there's a free program called Ian Cooke. I'm kidding, but he does know a lot about planning gardens - he helped Tom and the YourGardenShow Italy team with some guidance on the Lisaland garden (it's like the YourGardenShow test kitchen!). I'll mention to Ian and Tom that you were asking about garden mapping programs and I'm sure they'll have a good suggestion!
We used the garden planner on Mother Earth News and it worked great (if I understand your needs correctly). Let me know if this scratches your itch. BTW, I think it's free for a bit and then you're asked to pay a modest sum.
In my consult, I know the most trusted professional landscapers Los Angeles, this people make my garden more attactive. And before this I have suggested to so many friend they are also very happy with it. I believe you have to try at-least a once hope this will help you
Check out the research that Domesticity did. She posted, on her blog, a comparison of many garden plotting programs and it is very helpful in making decisions. Here is the link to her website.... http://sweetdomesticity.blogspot.com/2013/01/online-garden-planners.html I think you will enjoy the info, I sure did. ;)
