Don't grow the young plants too fast until the fruit is set. The use of Blossom Set will help. Grow them on well-aerated soil that is amply supplied with lime. Use plenty of compost in holes when setting out and keep well watered. If subjected to temperatures below 50° F., flowers will drop off and no fruit will set; the same result will occur at temperatures above 90° F. |
