A delicious white Daikon type radish from Japan. Long white roots grow to 15 inches or more! Mild and very crisp; perfect fresh in salads, or for making wonderful pickles. These are planted in late summer and harvested in fall and early winter.

Cabbage-relatives that come originally from Asia, need cooler conditions to be at their best but may be grown through the summer in all but the hottest climates. Salad types may be sown from earliest spring, at 2-3 week intervals. Fall or Winter radishes are best sown 45 days or more before first frost of fall. They are grown, stored and used like turnips.
