Broccoli Raab forms loose flower heads much like broccoli on leafy stems. It has a mildly bitter taste.

This fast-growing, cool season annual is cultivated in a way similar to broccoli. From early spring through the end of summer seed can be sown directly and then thinned to 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 cm). Plant your rows at least 18 inches (45 mm) apart.
