I've changed the name of the garden from Gardening in the Year 2012, to its current, tentative title until a final version is decided upon.

Rain water is so good for plants ..I had almost forgotten this because of the drought of last year.  We are getting some rain although the storms that hit the north part of Texas didn't come our way.  But we also didn't get the tornadoes.

My husband could live on carrots!

I bet he has great vision! These carrots I've never tried before - they are the Parisienne Carrots I received as a free gift from Baker Creek when I ordered my seeds.

The garden is officially moving to Countryside Community Garden, plot #28! I just received the news a few days ago that a 25 x 25 foot spot had opened up. I will continue to start the seedlings at home, then transfer them to the community garden.

Great news - you got a plot! That's a good size piece of land.
Agrarian replied about 1 year ago
It is a good sized piece of land. And it's actually the smaller of the two plot sizes available. Some of them are 25 ft x 50 ft.
