As a novice gardeners we are thrilled when a tomato or pepper grows in our little vegetable patch. We have had good years and bad as far as production. But even in the bad years we enjoy the process. We hope Ito learn a couple things this year and expand not only the garden but our knowledge base.

So how's the garden going now? I assume the snow has melted!

@Claire: As with Chicago weather, it was frost two weeks ago and today it is 90 degrees. The initial tomatos, squash and peppers are planted. This heat will really help along with lots of watering. I really depend on luck and I think talking to the plants may even help. Thanks for asking.
