I've been gardening in Nashville, TN for about 8 years after moving a trailer-load of plants from the Seattle area to my sunny, clay-filled, hot Nashville backyard. Talk about some culture-shock! My garden is primarily sunny perennials with lots of different irises and daylilies, roses and miscellaneous other plants. I have a small shade area with a collection of hostas and such. I added a decent-sized vegetable garden last year and a few fruit trees.
