Look at the baby birds!    What kind are they?    So sweet.    I'm at the edge of 7a, almost a 7b so we may be a little ahead of your season.    Love the forsythia.

The little birds are robins. Both mama birds built nests in very exposed locations, but the babies continue to thrive thanks to a little human intervention and protection. I'm in zone 7 too. Believe it or not the blooms are of collard greens and kale. They've been surprisingly beautiful and long-lasting. I'm letting them bolt for seed saving.
