I started my balcony
garden in April 2010 shortly after I moved
LA from NYC. New York is where I got my start in urban gardening
with my fire
escape garden.
Compared to the fire escape, the space on the balcony is huge. It’s
about 13 x 4, faces east and gets about six hours of morning sun.
