Repotting for real
May 23, 2010

The apple tree is really taking off - huge big new leaves and no pests (so far) because we repotted it in winter and I feed it liquid fertilizer every time I water it. I am afraid it is growing too big for our balcony now. The hosta too - I am going to look online to see how to divide it. Today I will repot the camelia. I read I needed gritty sand but as it seems to be doing well in its temporary bag of compost, I am just using my usual Intratuin potting soil. I will remove the bloomed-out flower bulbs as toss them.
The roses are not doing that well. Maybe I need to feed them? Hmmm...
