Quotes
Lovely sunny and hot day (dry). Finally I repotted the camelia from the street garden - in a nice big pot and somewhat in a corner so it doesn't get sunburned. I hope it works because I loved my mom's camelias when I was little. I fiddled with the clematis to try and untangle it from the chicken wire (so I can see the blossoms instead of the neighbors) and fertlized the roses (which aren't doing so well). Then we went to the garden center and picked up some super cheap impatiens (1.79 euros for a tray of 10 plants) and an orchid for my father-in-law for just 7 euros (with lots of juicy buds). Then I spent the whole afternoon weeding and watering his garden, found that I accidently seeded columbine last year when I repotted sunflowers from my balcony to his place - and gosh darn it - they are really growing big there! And his garden is filled with HUGE poppies just waiting to explode *jealous* (we planted seeds from these poppies in the Amsterdam Street Garden). I really deserved a beer after this.
