This is my first year growing these. We love edamame. I didn't do much to the soil because I thought they might be like green beans but the bottom leaves are a little yellow. I'm trying to decide if I need to give them some manure tea or less water. I'm really not sure. Mine aren't flowering yet.

@RoriTx:  These have done so much better than my peas...it could be that they are in the shade.

I am growing these for the first time also.  The ones I planted inside grew way fast and just one stalk straight up.. they are 11/2 2 feet long.  The ones planted outside under the milk jugs are just starting to sprout.  I really hope they turn out good.  I planted them for my daughter who loves them.
