They had these plants for 75% off and I got them for the rock flower bed.  I already had two hibiscus plants in the back of the bed that died down in the winter, but they are coming back.  They are red ones.  This one is already blooming.  I hope it will be happy in the shade.

Hibiscus is one of my favorites but they won't survive outside here during the winter.

I love Hibiscus! This is a very beautiful color, too. I would have to grow this as a house plant up here. You are so lucky to be able to grow these outside. It's lovely! :)

@Queen_of_Green: and Rori...I have them in a flower bed facing east.  The ones I have in there did die during the winter but are coming back.  I also have one hydrangea ... my brother gave me in the corner.  I have another plant I need to get Susan to remind me what it is.  I will post it today.

@Clenram: That sounds great! I'm glad your other hibiscus is coming back! I'll be looking for your post! :)

@Clenram: Hibiscus tea was one I had researched for Gary eithe... for his blood pressure or cholesterol.  I can't remember which it was good for off the top of my head but I know it was one.

@RoriTx: cool!  I have only used the red flowers before...I don't know about these peach colored ones.

@Clenram: I do think you're supposed to use the red one for tea.

Beautiful!  I have heard of Hibiscus but never seen one.  I would like to have some to... maybe red, so I could try the tea.

@JMTKMS: It would be fun.  You probably would want to keep them in a pot so you could bring it inside during the winter.
