@julia42: No it was growing in the weeds I am pulling in the low garden.

Very pretty!  Did it just show up " wild" ,  or did you plant wildflowers?  What a beautiful flower and great color, it does faintly remind me of a purple iris.

@JMTKMS: I don't plant the wildflowers, but I do look for them and try to identify them.  I think I have about 74 different types of wildflowers I have identified in our area.  I am not that good at planting flowers but I am an expert at appreciating them.  :)
