OMGosh, my kids, young and old, would love to go and feed your fish!  I would love to have a pond with fish... it would be so cheery.  I think when we get the final "duck" pond figured out, maybe we could put fish in it, as long as they are big enough tha... the ducks cannot eat them.

My uncle in lake stevens made a couple ponds at his place he made with a year round creek  he put steelhead in one and rainbows in the other .I  was their best friend. I would always stop to feed them . the water would just boil. feeding frenzy the fish got to about 7 to ten pounds. fun to catch we would use  barbless hooks or barbless  flies .fly fishing was fun catch and release

I built a lot of fishing ponds for people the most fun one was right behind a guys back door there was a big ravine wit... a year round stream.I build a dam with a pipe at the bottom . and built a waterfall rockery down the other side planted all native bushes and plants/pine trees etc. and all the rocks from around he's property. when I got done.it looked so real like if would have taken a chunk of mother natures falls and took it home. he built a deck over the edge for fishing.  he always had a dream of having one. me too. he told me was sick. so I worked at hes house with all my free time holidays/ weekends /after work.well the stories long enough but anyway it ended up being 3 acres of ponds and a thirty foot high waterfall at the end of all of it.  he stock it full of trout. taught. me how to fly fish.he  got to enjoy it  for 6 months.it was great. you could  hear the falls on a  rainy day  4 city blocks aw.... well my typing finger is sore .later. very cool video

@JMTKMS:  Wow you would be in big demand in Texas ... knowing how to make ponds is cool.  Jesse and I made ours.  The water is circulated from a low pond to high so the water always runs.  I need to cover some of the black liner with some more flat rock.  We have to buy rocks (crazy all we have is sand) ... but we have had the pond for nearly three years now and it is so fun to see what will grow there!  I was so nice that the man got to enjoy his dream.

Lol, my first thought was that ones big enough to eat!

@RoriTx: These are the eating type of catfish.  If they start reproducing..we do plan to have a fish fry.

Great video.....catfish are fun to watch.....we have an order in for a white catfish.....we had a huge one, but it died 2 years ago along with all our big fish when we had a very cold winter. They made it through the majority of the winter and the last freezing cold and major snowstorm did them in.  All the little fish survived, though.

@Liz:  When these guys were little I didn't seem them for months and thought they were dead..but they were just hiding.  :)

The sound of the water is so peaceful.  I bet you spend some spare time around that pond.

@vanna516:  Yes it is a fun place to sit.  I usually have my coffee in the morning down there.
