    The red okra was fun and tasted great. It did not keep its red color after we pickled them.

Gorgeous picture!  I know we can grow okra here, but have never tried it... maybe this is the year!

@Jaimatee: We pickle it, fry it, and make yummy gumbo with it....

I may just break down and grow some again. Do you have a preference for the best variety to fry and for soups?
