All of your vegetables look so delicious!   I would like to grow broccoli again, but a few years ago when I picked my broccoli and put it into the sink to soak in water.....my broccoli was filled with little caterpillars.....have not grown broccoli since.  Do you have any suggestions for growing broccoli?

The Broccoli is easy to grow here in the Fall/Winter Garden.  But I have not had any luck with it in a spring garden.  The insects had a feast when I tried planting it March 1 last year.  The water cress was also super easy!  Looking at your pond I think it should do well.  I got a small plant at a farmers market and put it where the water flows.  (It does not like still water.)  It grew at a fast rate.  It died back during the months of 100+ Degrees but it has completely come back.  I would start seeds in a container and then just sit it in the water where it flows slowly!
