Just thought I'd share a few photos of my water garden.  This is where I try to start every morning before my day begins reading the paper and having a cup of tea.  The smooth sound of water always soothes my soul and relaxes me.

Looks like a fun (and tasty) project!  No figs here, but it might be fun to adapt to other fillings...
CreativeGreenThumb replied 11 months ago

We finally got some rain yesterday and it rained throughout the night. It's been quite some time since we've gotten any rain so I am quite thankful. I sure hope we get some more this week!

MMM, I can't wait. My recipe is funky. My figs never ripen but my neighbor lets me pick from her old tree.
jupiter replied 11 months ago
@CreativeGreenThumb: I too would be interested in the recipe, as we have to fig trees, and I imagine I would like a break from the fig preserves/strawberry fig preserves.

The one good thing about these 100 degree days is that my pepper plants are blooming and beginning to produce peppers.  I've got jalapenoes, red peppers, lemon drop, habanero, and red habaneros growing.  Whew, it's gonna be a hot summer!!!
