for me, that would be Epazote.  it has quite a distinctive scent and flavor, and most Mexicans will add it to a pot of beans.  added bonus:   it removes the more *musical* affects of eating beans.

I've never seen that, but I haven't looked either. I'll put that on my list of plants to look for.....will put herb next to it or I'll forget what I'm looking for.

i never seem to get 'un-busy' until the H is home from work.  Ibuprofen is my knee's best friend these days.

Ysabella is an absolute delight.   i never tire of her smiling, giggling and dancing self.  we still see Rubi in online chat/cams.  she is almost 16 months old now. gosh, we sure do miss her.

By "for bread" poppy, do you mean you keep the seeds for baking?  I need some of those.  My gramma grew poppies for ever, and we hung them to dry in our garage so she could collect the seeds. &nb... more »

hello everyone,

thanks for the get well wishes, when i was battling that stomach virus.  thankfully, it is all gone and nothing more than a not-so-nice memory now.
