I was working with elementary school students grades 1st - 5th at Hoover Elementary School doing Gardening, Cooking and Dance Classes.  I also did a weekly Farmer's Market.  The garden at Hoover was completely dead when I started and then we planted all sorts of wonderfl fruit and vegetables.  We ate the food from the garden and prepard many healthy meals.  I have moved and had to leave my position at Hoover as a Gardening teacher and would love ot find another school to work with.  I am a backyard Gardener with chickens very much involved i the urban farming movement.
