I know, I was going through some ole pictures and felt a little sad. At least we've been lucky it hasn't been too cold yet. I usually start planting a few things in March or early April, so it's not that far away.

I do grow baby watermelons and cantaloupe pretty well. I also got a few banana melons this year.

And I grow a lot of Basil on years that I'm making Marinara Sauce because I make enough jars to last 2 years and need a lot of Basil in a short period. I pinch it back to it gets bushy, and since it's in with the tomatoes, it helps keep the weeds away. We also use a lot of Pesto Sauce, love it!

That's great- I love a beautiful Fall. And I hear you- I do admit the snow looked pretty, but it's sad that we are headed into the time of year that I don't like to be outside, very little then no gardening at all.

At least this year we have our cold-holding closet, so will have fresh veggies further into the winter.

Winter is when I get my hopes back up that the next growing season will be better than the last, and I plan to help make it that way.
