You are starting your "taters" indoors? Does it make a big difference?  How soon can you put them out where you are?

This is my first time trying this- I learned it from a member of our Face Book Group Gardenaholics Anonymous. We plant our mid-March without protection- but these taters are growing so fast I may have to cloche them outside sooner. You save a good 3 weeks, or more, by starting indoors. Here's the link to our group if you're interested- they are a real friendly bunch, no egos. https://www.facebook.com/groups/108737855879686.../
