Yea, i put up a new garden map this year, its a clear "dry erase board".  So far it is really working great.  I still like my marker sticks, but yes, if they are gone, the map shows me everything.

I use excel for the task. I size the cells so they're square, and every square represents 1 square foot. Then I number all of the planting spaces and have a key to show me which plants are in which number ... more »

I used excel for awhile, but then the printer went down and it put a damper on the whole shi-bang.  Darn computers!

Great picture. Seed packets are one of my favorite things - they represent so much potential. That is a valuable possession!

That is quite a selection of seeds.....exactly how many packets are there?  Just out of curiosity, do you grow flowers too?

Not sure. Never tried to count them. So far, I don't grow flowers (I think I grew 1-2 types one year as part of an experiment with attracting/repelling certain types of bugs). I'm more about function than ... more »

I assume the non pumpkin is the yellow one in front?  When did you harvest these... is is Halloween already? One year I want to try and grow a GIGANTIC squash/ pumpkin, how fun!

This was right before Halloween in 2011. The yellow one in front is a Royal Golden Watermelon.
