Although I only became serious about gardening in 2010 I have been gardening off and on for many years. After planting an organic garden in 2010 and expanding my knowledge, I also became a beekeeper in 2011. Thanks to "the girls" my garden did very well and I'm expanding both the garden and the number of hives this coming spring.

I have been a "composter" for many years and during my travels across the US I left compost piles wherever I stopped for awhile.
