We moved into our small country town and small country home during the winter of 2005, but I soon started taking Agriculture classes at the small local college and had very little time for gardening. It started slowly with just a few tomato plants planted right into our large weed patch of a backyard but over the years we now have a pretty large garden and small orchard. I've learned a lot about organic gardening over the years and have made many mistakes...but have learned from them all! What really did help with getting our garden up and growing was to surround myself with a very large collection...

Just spent some much needed time weeding, thinning and feeding our three raspberry bushes. Hope my efforts pay off with a decent harvest and maybe even some jam! :) |
