flower garden picture

Two or three classes from the elementary school on the other side of the highway toured the neighborhood and circled the garden twice, coming and going. Meanwhile the garden was awake in spots, awakening in others and asleep here and there. A city guy painted the rusty telephone box last fall, a great improvement over the first years. The catmint in the foreground is just starting to flower. Later it will be denser and more vivid. Just visible here are two stalks of camass lily in the extreme foreground, tall enough for the flowers to rise in front of our trophy boulder.
