This plant was growing happily at Missouri Botanic Garden in St. Louis. It's heuchera 'Caramel.' There's only one leaf here that I might call caramel-colored but most of the leaves on my plant were caramel-colored from spring to fall of last year, when we had a lot of rain and the plant just kept growing. Maybe the variety of leaf colors in this photo are a sign that I photographed my plant in Fall. Alas, I don't remember when I took it. Or maybe this plant and mine show the variations that different plants of 'Caramel' can reveal?

Last month I bought 9 of these for my front garden. I love the color of the leaves. It added a certain something I needed in one area. Your eyes go right to it because it's different.

My eyes too, for the same reason. No other color in the garden is like this one.
