Favorite gardening books: When I started out in this remarkable Industry I worked for Hillier’s of Winchester located on the south coast of England. Their book ‘Hillier’s manual of Trees and Shrubs’ was a must read.
Favorite vegetable: Pink Fur Apple also known as Rosa Finn Apple. It’s a fantastic potato.
Favorite flower: Passion flower –there is a great range to choose from.
Favorite tree / shrub: This is like asking which is your favorite child. Stewartia pseudocamellia and Melianthus major are remarkable plants.
Gardening organizations:
Favorite park / arboreteum: I have been to Japan twice and am very fond of the gardens at Kenrokuen. Search it in Google and see what can be done with clear intention and some patience.
