Sorry, but I couldn't help myself from laughing when I first read your post. I hope you still have some seeds so you can try again. Just don't give up!
@Liz:I do have more seeds, but I think it might be a bit late to re-start for seedlings. I think I might have to order ready-to-plant tomatoes from the Seed Savers Exchange heirloom collection. Next year I will start in February to ensure I have time to re-grow if necessary!
Love your sense of humor - been there ... done that ... some varieties are more picky than others - I still have no luck with Cherokee Purple. You can still re-try with some seeds for later planting but ready-to-plant is great idea.
