How did you get so many?  I planted 10 potatoes and only got 3 back.  Mine were in tires, one with straw and the other I would add dirt as the plant got taller.  My soil was a good compost soil. Thanks for your help.  Dena :o)

Some people harvest the tendrils and leaves of snow peas - eating them raw for salads and also stir-fried with olive oil and garlic.  What about you?
JJS replied almost 2 years ago

So it's ok to seed now? I just got my new garden allotment, and everyone is telling me it is too late to plant any veg seeds. Maybe our growing season is shorter? What seeds are you sowing now?
JJS replied almost 2 years ago
i live in the north west of the Great USA . the corn i planted last well probly make corn maybe not . can't get corn if you don't try. the corn is from Gurnies seed catalog. and it's called ( gotta have it ) the sweetest corn i've ever had .
