How long will melons keep? This is a beauty!

I find they do not last very long.... with Morissa around. :) :) :)    Oh, did you mean do they store well? :) :)  They do not last to long, a couple days maybe more, depending when you picked them.  I sure do not know how they pick them and ship them to stores without losing a bunch...  We just try to eat them and give them away as fast as we can.  :)

@PrinceSnow: if you pick them a little early they can store in the fridge for  a while. if you wait for them to slip off the vine they are as  ripe as they get then you eat/ freeze/ juice   there always better when they ripen on the vine. sweeter these cantaloup... very very sweet and juicy. i will have to plant more next year. but there are alot out there there seems to be five to seven a plant i planted 18 of this kind. ;.0)-

@JMTKMS: Mine have been wonderful!  I have about six of them sitting on my kitchen counter at the moment.  Also picked the first little watermelon last night - it was really good!  Didn't even last long enough to snap a photo :)
