It's still lovely.....our land is so flat in SE Michigan.

I've been to Michigan and it was beautiful too.  I really loved the firefly's.  I had never seen them before.  My friends live in Webberville.

@JMTKMS: Right around the 4th of July is when we starting seeing them.  Michigan is pretty but in a different way.....no mountains except in the Upper Peninsula.

We certainly have plenty of mountains!  But I d trade a couple for some of those firefly's.  I just love them, could sit on a dark night and watch them forever!  I hear people say they have seen them in Washington, but I never have and I have been all over the state.  They must be hiding.

@JMTKMS: They are hiding just because they know you want to see them.

@Liz:  Well the hills are hiding with Adams today!  Can't see a darn thing out the window.  The wind is really going.

@JMTKMS: and it's in the 80s here.....I had to come in from cleaning the flower beds and take a break.  I really prefer doing this job when the temp is in the 60s.  My apricot tree is blooming.  I never remember a March like this.

Oh  I love apricots!  I always forget about them until the season is over, and I know people that have trees and do not harvest them.  I even found a plum orchard last year that is not harvested.  So sad.  I hope you enjoy your tree this year.
