At least they are not fire ants!

After hearing about all your ants in Texas, I am thinking that I really like my ants.   Maybe I will start feeding them.... not.  :) ;)    No fire ants for me, please!

@JMTKMS:  I think they are not spreading that way because of the cold up there.

@Clenram:  I hope it stays that way.  I will have to do some research on the fire ants, I hear so much about them an they seem to do so much damage.  I live on the desert side of Washington, and it would almost make sense that there would be some over here, except maybe the cold winter.

@JMTKMS:   This is a good site for information

@Clenram:  Well I just read up a bunch on those Fire Ants... Yuck.  It did say that the Pacific Coast would/could be a good location for them, but I am hoping they never make it over.  I guess our colder winters here would keep them away from our side of the mountains.  They really sound terrible, and yes, the damage they do is terrible.  Funny how they know exactly when and where they originated in the USA.  Poor Mobile Alabama, sad to be the originator of the Fire Ants.

Thank you. I will have to check that out

@JMTKMS:  It is interesting at how much damage they are doing in the south, but I don't think you have to worry.
