Yesterday, a baking day, cleaning day, windy day....

Well yesterday was not a garden day.  It was windy and overcast.  I baked 4 loaves of bread and made bacon, egg w/ pepper jack cheese pockets for Johns lunch.  Laundry is almost caught up..... and dishes are done and... it is still windy and overcast today. :(    Oh, well, guess I better get the kids going, and get myself going as the garden needs me today.  Hope every one has a great day!

Sometimes I think we need Mother Nature to remind us that we need to do some things other than gardening.  I haven't baked bread in over a year now ... I really need to get back to it (not that I was ever that good at it).

@vanna516:  One way to be good at baking bread is to buy a kitchen aid mixer.  It really makes it easy.  High altitude... making can be a chore... but  I am sure it to could be overcome.  I lived at about 5,600ft and all me bread came out with holes in it.  All tasted good, just not "quite right".  Mother Nature reminding us to do our indoor chores sounds about right, and I know I sure need it.  My house really can tend to fall apart all season.

I wish you were here to take care of me! What a wonderful lunch to take to work. I don't bake much at all since we eat so little of it, it seems a waste. We do like to barbeque (everything) and hopefully I will be able to buy a new one this weekend. The one we have leaks propane.

@Teregram:  Ooh, leaky propane, that cannot be good.  Funny, we do not barbecue.  Never really have, but we do not have a grill so it just does not happen.  Bread, on the other hand, we love it and we eat lots of it.  Hopefully we all "work out" afterwards... but we'll see about working on that.  :) :)

Where oh where do you find the time--

@KittyCorral:  There is always a lot more time in a day if I can't get in the garden.
