OMGosh, this came from a recipe on Sweetdomesticity...'s site. We made it in 3 small loaf pans, and this way there was one for last night, one for tonight, and one to freeze for later (and share with the cousins who gave us the rhubarb). We had green rhubarb, not strawberry red, so the green color is less appealing, but very, very tasty. This will be a "keeper" and we will be enjoying it for years to come. Each pan, for us, equals 4 big servings. There are four of us, so that is just a perfect size. Here is the link to sweetdomesticity...:
@PYehl: I remember telling my dad about it, because he did/does have rhubarb. I believe it is wrote in my journal.. Thanks for reminding my, as I need to get i on a recipe card. I will let you know how we like it!
@JMTKMS: I will be looking for that recipe today. I feel quite sure I wrote it down, and I think I even ...................... ooooh, I just remembered... I put it, I actually copied it and put it in a file. So, I will now be able to make it as soon as I get some more rhubarb. Mine is sadly not doing to well. We get along great with the farmers.... but it looks like the wind caught the spray they were using and it has killed off part of our garden.... one rhubarb plant included. We are watching for the extent of the damage.
