Looks great!  Also, I'm coveting your colander  - love those gorgeous metals ones, especially for garden harvests :)

Thanks, the colander was a great find.  I got it at a yard sale for like 50 cents or a dollar.  I snatched it right up.  :) ;)

What a great idea! I love making pies. I'm going to try this one. Two years ago we had an early freeze and I had a bunch of green tomatoes that I made into mock apple pie. They were great, too.

I should be ashamed of myself---the only pie I've ever baked that looked half as good came out of a box!!!
