| Guess I could add a fresh (frozen) caught salmon to this and it will be an awesome meal. Pies are done. Guess we are eating a late dinner. Nicer to eat when it is cooler out. Have a great evening. :) |
| Artichoke looking odd... parent must have been a hybrid?? Jul 11, 2012 | |

| Is this normal, for an artichoke? or is this guy mixed up? It was a volunteer, so maybe the parent was a hybrid?? |

Well, the sun is certainly making up for lost time. We are watering as much as we can to give all the plants a good chance. It is hard with so many gardens in so many areas... I really want a better/easier watering system for next year. Guess it would not be all that hard, it just isn't fun. :) Things are starting to... ...see more | |
| I feel your pain on the watering front - what a chore! And your garden is way bigger than mine! At least your peppers should get a kick start from the heat, if there's any silver lining :) |

| OH my gosh it's so cute. We are constantly teasing about picking up a skunk for a pet. I watched a show once about a lady who had them as pets and they make great pets. |

We started this garden in 2010 and could not believe the harvest!!! We expanded in 2011 and now we are exhausted because the harvest was so much more. We are completely organic and feel that this is so helpful for our family. GMO foods are causing us (our family) many allergy problems and we are trying to get away from them completely. We harvest, freeze, can and dehydrate all our produce. So far we have done well and are continuing to try to have our produce last all year till the next harvest.
