Hard to believe how much lettuce this garden has put out... We are still getting salads, but most of the lettuce is bolting and flowering. We will see if we can collect some seeds. We will start planting for a new crop and see if we can keep it going.
StoneCottageFarm replied 11 months ago
We have a second round of lettuce coming up in one of the barrels I planted. We got a few salads out of the first batch, before the insane heat wave struck, and despite our watering efforts, fried it to a crisp. lol.
JMTKMS replied 11 months ago
We are having quite a bit of a heat wave right now, its been over 100 for the last three days and is expected to stay there for the next few days before it drops to the 90's.  Our plants will be in sh... more »

The hot weather, gardening, weeding and running the kids around has really taken its toll on getting on the show to comment.  I will be going to an early morning rodeo to watch Morissa's good friend compete.. Then I am coming home to get on the garden show and catch up.  I am sure everyone else's gardens are booming with growth,... ...see more
