The beans are so slow to grow to the top of the poles... we are dying with anticipation of them getting there and beginning to produce...  Flowers on both poles now!  Soon...   :)
PrinceSnow replied 11 months ago
As always, your photos are amazing! Breathtaking actually. They will be there soon!
JMTKMS replied 11 months ago
I sure hope so!  They just seem so slow.... they look so close one day, then I would swear they go backwards...maybe they are slipping.  :)

Glad you enjoyed a good 4th of July!  Ours was good as well - albeit extremely hot!  We officially broke the record high for the 4th of July here at 101 degrees.

We had a great night, though it lasted much to late, as usual.  They should make the "day off" the day after... that way we could do fireworks late and have parades and celebrations the afternoon of t... more »

Nice firework shots, where are they from? We had fireworks at the park a couple of blocks away but the trees blocked any chance of catching a glimpse. We had a grat day too.  Life is good =)

Observations... Jul 04, 2012
Activity-icon-status

Silly me I guess, but i just figured out that I could change the "date" in the observation dialog box.       I thought that the date was just there, I did not realize you could change it to the actual date that the observation had happened (actually harvested, watered , etc).... if I was behind and did not post something,... ...see more

Me neither... :) :)  So much to do and so little time to do it....  :) :)
SweetDomesticity replied 11 months ago
I've not used the observations feature much - I think it's just too much information for me to remember/keep track of - so I'm wondering if you (or others) find it helpful to use?  Maybe for next grow... more »

LOL  You are probably right... and since it is windy here almost all the time, that explains the carrots all the funny places I keep finding them.  :) :)
Happy Happy Happy Fourth of July!!!! Jul 04, 2012
Activity-icon-status

Well, Happy Fourth of July... Everybody!  I may not like fireworks.... but this is a great day and should be enjoyed.  Sam will be doing and seeing fireworks with John.  They really seem to enjoy it, while Morissa and I tend to just see them from a distance.   There is a big show of fireworks in town and we have a clear view... ...see more

Summer fleas, the worst they have ever been!!! Jul 03, 2012
Activity-icon-status

Fleas and ticks are so bad this year.  We are treating the animals... but it is not organic, but it should be.  I really do not like putting poison on them.  We had an organic flea medicine but it did not do the job and the house was getting infected with them... I think we have everyone treated now (again), and I sure hope... ...see more
