I've had so much trouble with my tomato cages I probably need to try hanging a few - I'll have to scout out places.

I think we all have had problems this year with our tomatoes.....I think we all will be lucky and get great harvests this year.

It really was a wonderful day.  The kids helped in the garden, making it a real family event.  We try to not have them weed to much, since it really is our hobby.  But, we do feed their animals and help with their hobbies, so once in awhile it is nice when they help us.  We really got most all the gardens weeded, and we... ...see more

nice posting:) I love family garden days. Also everything looks so green and lush! We are on like day 5 of 100+ degrees/no rain and basically only garden time we've had is to move the sprinkler around and water then quickly go back in the A/C!!

Really, do you think the ants eat the aphids?  I was reading that the ants actually raise the aphids and put them on the plants so they can harvest some sweet stuff the aphids make...  ???  ... more »

The juice is good by itself, but much better mixed with something else.  If you read the labels on store bought juice, you will notice that pears are in most all of them.  It just has a nice mild... more »
