I got my compost bin up and running! I don't know why I let so many years go by with out one. Master gardners class was great this week, we learned about small fruit production, like raspberries, strawberries, ect...

It has been a crazy last couple weeks, I've had two kids with ear infections and one with the flu. On a positive note, I got to learn how to trim a apple tree, in my master gardeners class.

Yesterday I took a walk around my house, looked down in one of my gardens and saw my tulips growing, relief ran through my body with warm rays of sunshine announcing spring is HERE!.

You're so lucky!  I'm hopeful that by the end of the month we'll start to see a few things pop up (assuming our snow is gone by then, that is!).

A little artichoke sprout is exciting.  It's also nice to see a lot of gardeners sharing again. Make sure you let at least one of your artichokes flower. the flower is beautiful!

What a Great Day today, me and the family went to an Organic cheese farm, to test cheese. Came home picked cabbage worms off my broccoli and Cauliflower leaves. Did some weeding, and now going to take the girls swimming. I love summer! Oh yeah and we made
