carrots, celery, chard, corn, eggplant, peas, potatoes, brassicas, beets, radishes, strawberries, cucumbers.....lots of choices..... a good website for companion planting is www.ghorganics.com/page2.html |

I use some tall, heavy duty cages (spending the extra money on the larger, heavy duty ones is worth every penny), but I also reinforce the cages with several tall stakes to make sure they won't topple over... more » |

| We are picking up our bees! There is an Earth Day celebration in downtown Monroe, but I don't think we'll make that. It's windy again and rainy.....not the best day for putting 2 swarms of bees into their new homes or an Earth Day celebration. |

Growing up I always provided a little garden space from my mom for me to grow things. As years have gone by and now I'm married, we have survived many times living off our garden. Someday I would love to own my own green house and teach people the benefits o... growing your own garden.
