Spring has finally arrived. Mar 23, 2011
Activity-icon-status

The crocus and miniature iris are blooming and the daffodils and hyacinths are budding.  The trees have that faint green tint of new leaves about to start appearing. And it doesn't get dark at 5 p.m. anymore!

Saw my first robin today and then heard the weatherman predict 3-5 inches of snow for tomorrow! Is winter ever going to end?

Your property is so beautiful - I especially love all the mature trees - even in the winter! Love the photo of the cardinal.

The temperature was over 60 degrees today and all the snow is gone!  It would be nice if we didn't see any more this year, but I'm sure winter isn't quite through with us yet. It is a welcome break though.

Your winter photographs are beautiful; but to be perfectly honest I just want winter to go away.  It is -8 in Michigan today.

You both make me feel guilty.  No frost here even. It is supposed to get "cold" here next week. Maybe even rain. Cold means the low to mid 50's. I think it is amazing you can have such beautiful gardens with such a short "warm" gardening time.

I expect I would see Bambii in the next instant.  Was this photo taken at the end of October or was it from last year?
