Rain all week. Everything in the garden is loving it! Mescaline mix is taking off and the peas are bursting!
|
| Agreed! My peas are going crazy! |

We've been having sunshine and 70 degree weather here in NY. I really want to plant but our last frost date is May 25th. I'm sooo tempted to plant some peas right now though... |

I am having trouble keeping up with what I planted...looks like everything is doing well here. Hope you are having a great Sunday! |

I spent about 6 hours in the garden today with Sarah. We prepped a new bed and planted carrots, turnips, swiss chard, and mesculine. Planted 12 six packs of seeds to bring into the house - cucumbers, okra, peppers, thyme, and cumin. Excited to have so many things ready for the the spring! |

In 2008 we moved to our home in the middle of one of Sacramento's oldest neighborhood. The backyard was overgrown and unkempt. We began the slow process of removing old dying trees and weeds. A shovel at a time we leveled the ground, built low-raised beds from wood found at Habit For Humanity's Restore. In 2009 we had our first productive garden using most of the space.
