A now-9-day-old LaMancha goat, currently residing in our laundry room, has had us preoccupied for the past several days...photos to come, of course!

Reminds me of when we would occasionally have a little lamb in our house in the spring growing up.  Luckily, a little TLC goes a long way.  Good luck and can't wait to see photos!

Exciting! keep us posted. I thought about getting Violet Jaspers this year, but I heard mixed reviews. I'm anxious to hear what you think of them.

This is your Chard right?   I grew this ...it is so pretty I put it in some of my pots that I use to put decorative plants.

Yes, this is the chard we have growing. We planted it several weeks ago, actually. It is really pretty-- I also used to plant it as a decorative plant. It's doing really well, but we have a few more weeks ... more »

I'm excited too-- wondering how hot they'll be. It might not be pretty, but they might make good hot pepper jelly, which I love. And I've never made mole, but these are supposed to be the best for that....
