TULIPS!!! (Boston Public Garden)

The Public Garden was teeming with people enjoying the tulips...plenty of photo ops!  Most of the beds were in their full glory...though some were beginning to come to their end and others hadn't shown a bloom as of yet.  Enjoy the swaths of color as they won't last long!

I tried to make it through all 19 photos, but my computer is so slow right now, that I had to quit before I could finish.  I hope to get this pc cleaned up, and then I am coming back here for more.  :)  I just love tulips.  My Gramma worked in the tulip fields in Anacortes Washington.  They were beautiful, and she would get to bring home alot of bulbs.  Her yard was full of them and she gave many to us.  She would get the imperfect bulbs, the ones that were not true to their type.  Some, in my opinion, were much more beautiful than the ones they were supposed to look like.  But, to me they were all beautiful and all wonderful to look at.  Color was not important, it was just fulfilling... see them all... These pictures remind me of those days... such a long time ago, now.  Thank you.  :)

@JMTKMS:Thanks for sharing your tulip memories.  I do love tulips - though it appears that your grandmother loved them even more!  :-)  The season is nearing its end...the last of the ones in my garden are losing their petals...sorry to see them go...
