Agreed - the colors are so intense!

@knitowl:the yellow pear tomatoes definitely add something special...I think that I like them more for their color than their taste

We tried some yellow cherry tomatoes called Sunsugar this year; round & vibrant yellow-orange; very tasty, too. More acid than the yellow pear, I prefer the tanginess. The plants came from a random greenhouse outing; will have to save some seeds.

@krandolph:It is good to know what you like.  I also like sungolds...none this year but they are definitely on the list for 2013!

Yummy! Your twisted green peppers look a lot like my 'Jimmy Nardello' frying peppers. Are they hots?
Kristen replied 10 months ago
@BotanicalBrain:I think that they are Long Slim Cayenne...but not 100% sure as my father picked them up for me....though I can tell you that they are HOT!

Cayenne peppers all look the same but don't always taste the same. This year I grew two sweet cayenne types--'Jimmy Nardello' being one. They look and taste great in hot sauce blends.
