First Sighting of a Robin!

By: Liz
Mar 09, 2012
I just peeked out the window and there was a robin on the lawn.  Whenever I see a robin, I know that the "real spring" is not too far off.  It is very windy this morning.  Earlier it snowed just a touch, but at least the sun is out now.  Hopefully, I will be able to work out in the barn today!

It is cold here...well cold for us 47 degrees and the high only 55...but the cold front also brought rain!  Did you finish all of your baskets?

@Clenram: It's cold here too.....went out in the barn earlier and it was only 30 degrees.....way to cold to do anything out there so I have a makeshift workshop in my kitchen.....I have a mess everywhere!  I have 1 more border to do tonight and then I'm done with the weaving part.....I even have 1 extra blue basket and 1 extra pink basket just in case.  Tomorrow I will stain them, then they can air out until we get back from Chicago.  I would take 47 degrees any day.....it's also windy here with quite a chilly bite to it.  The rain is good.....do you collect your rain?
