My goal for today was to paint the skeleton of the sculpture, prime the arbor, and get some weeding done. This morning it was breezy out, but by the afternoon it was downright windy. The news said it was 61 degrees out, but with the wind it did not feel that warm. I had a sweatshirt and a jacket on. I only got half of the sculpture painted when the wind started blowing dirt on the wet paint, so I gave up on the idea of getting the sculpture painted and priming the arbor. Instead I decided to go into the barn and paint the chairs and tables I primed the other day. Tomorrow I just have to flip them over and paint the bottoms. Perhaps I'll be able to do today's project tomorrow, but I think rain is in Tuesday's forecast. I'll probably have to come up with an alternate plan.
@Deb_The_Gardener...: Thank you.....the crabapple is a pretty tree.....I did accomplish a lot, but I'm anxious to get more done on the sculpture.....I don't think our weather is going to be too cooperative again today. It's windy and looks like rain.
